[Asaroki 04- Closer]

Music

Pump up the sound and let the audience adjust their speakers. Also needs more music. Any successful movie has background music and/or some kind of ambient noise with each scene. This technique paints a more realistic scenario for the mind and allows the audience to focus on the scenery and dialouge more. Also, ever notice how when a movie has dead silence that it is actually not completely silent? That is because the speakers are causing a slight feedback which is heard as a constant static. Even this is neccessary for a movie because this "back feed noise" can actually be adjusted to evoke a certain emotion from the audience. Take a minute and watch 10 different movies from 10 different genres and listen very carefully for the "back feed noise" in each scene, you will be suprised what you hear. Some really boring movies are boring because they have huge periods of JUST dialouge. The special effects could be top notch, the acting could be spot on, and the one liners could fflying off the funny bone faster than a frog leg off a hot skillet; but with no music, ambient noise, or sound effects it becomes just another blase production. Good work though keep it up.

better

Looking better with each episode. Noticed u spent more time on this one. The thing with the bird and the chipmunk, Hilarious. of course I am a bit twisted myself so horror genre cliche is funny to me. Decent work.

[Asaroki 02- Encouter]

Decent

Your style was a little rushed this time. It seemed as though you payed less attention to detail and more to a deadline than in the first one. This is where a lot of really cruddy video games and movies come from. Deadlines over art quality will always kill a series. A proffessional animation studio creates a series of 5 - 6 episodes well before they ever publish it. Maybe try this next time you start a series. It helps to keep you within an acceptable time frame, and gives you good tweaking buffer. I noticed you put lot of work into your "Producer Intro" but way less into the actual episode. It looks like you are a fan of Anime try taking a few queues from that genre. Also try Anime Studio and Manga Studio Pro for the PC/MAC. These 2 programs have a lot of neat tools that will make your flash sparkle like a chrome hood ornament on a brand new $200,000 Bentley, BUT only if employed correctly. Also try picking up a book on How To Draw Manga/Anime and even Caligraphy it will help steady your hand and open a few style ideas you never thought of.

I liked it it was very good but as some of the other reveiws have said a bit short, maybe an intro piece. I like your style you are now one of my flash artist faves.

AHH NO MORE DEMOS!!!

I applaude your effort but it was very choppy and sort of glitchy. Also if people keep putting all thes demos on the net they take up bandwidth so PLEASE STOP WITH THE BLINKIN' DEMOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love the art style it is obvious you are into anime. The animation seemed as if it were a childs fairy tale book written by a deranged Dr. Seuss and drawn by an even more deranged five year old. I thought the 2-D look behind it gave a good bit unique flair. good job.

Speed

This was funny at times. but hard to read try slowing the speed about 5 to 10 seconds so that you can read the text and try some voice work. you can get some friends together or get the program AUDACITY. it is a sound modulation program. Also try a little more in the art department. It was good art and very creative but a little bland.
